Inspired by the ginormous ficus trees in the Parterre, Valencia.
Watercolour on thick handmade indigo paper. The watercolours have a metallic effect, so the colours of this painting will look different, depending on the light. It is also very difficult to photograph because of this! The paper is coarse, uneven and heavily textured, with a deckled edge.
56x38cm roughly, given the edges are uneven because the paper is made by hand. You will need to buy a 70x50 picture frame, unless you get it framed professionally.
